The DiDa Festival is back!

DiDa celebrates the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Viinikahvila Feeniks in Helsinki (Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 9).

The evening will feature performances by Access Amplified Collective, Riikka Hänninen, and Hanna Väätäinen. The event will be hosted by Sanni Virta.

Now being held for the tenth time, the event highlights the art of persons with disabilities and deaf people, raises awareness, and invites discussion about diversity in arts and culture.

“Persons with disabilities should not be expected to settle for the last place. We have the right to thrive, make an impact, and build our own culture without apology,” says the event producer Taru Perälä of The Threshold Association (Kynnys ry).

Admission is free, and the venue is accessible. Due to venue capacity and catering arrangements, advance registration is required by 22 November using this registration form (in Finnish). Please provide your name, contact details and any requirements that the organizers should take into consideration.

Join us in celebrating and help bring a warm atmosphere to the beginning of December!
